During the pandemic, I worked in the studio and outside on my front lawn at creating arrangements of small natural objects over surfaces to produce imagined apothecary table tops. Small hand-built objects crafted with paper and natural clay harvested from Goulais River, a carefully pressed raspberry leaf hand-picked from my backyard, sticks selected from walks at Batchawana Bay, a dried frog– all were arranged on various surfaces.
